add and process a song with lyrics
have the lyrics handy if you can. pasted lyrics give the best timing, but we can also look those up in the app.
in the library, select Add song….
choose an audio file you own.
in Add a Song, check the Title and Artist, then select Next >.
paste the lyrics, one line per sung line, with a blank line between verses.
- no lyrics? select Look up Online and read over what it finds.
select Finish.
baritoad turns the singer down and times each word. when it's done, the song waits in the library under Needs checking.
you can also leave the lyrics box empty, and baritoad listens for the words itself. it's slower and the timing is rougher since it is trying to transcribe the voice, but it works.
